Lesen als Lernprozess im DaF-Studium in Ägypten

Der Beitrag beschreibt Stellenwert und Spezifika der Fertigkeit Lesen sowie ihrer Vermittlung / ihres Erwerbs im gegenwärtigen DaF-Studium in Ägypten. Mit Bezug auf den Fachdiskurs zum Leseprozess und dessen Komponenten werden Probleme und deren Ursachen sowohl im Studiensystem wie auch bei den Studierenden ermittelt. Geleitet von modernen Lehr- / Lernstrategien, wird ein neues Didaktisierungskonzept vorgestellt, welches das Lesen / Leseverstehen zu einem gewichtigen Bestandteil des DaF-Studiums in Ägypten ausbaut.

The article describes the significance and specificities of reading skills and their teaching / acquisition in German as a Foreign Language studies in Egypt. With reference to the academic discussion on the process of reading and its components, the article investigates problems and their causes both in the higher education system and among the students. It is guided by modern teaching and learning strategies and introduces a new didactic concept which will expand reading and reading comprehension into a major component of German as a Foreign Language studies in Egypt.
