Die ‚Gesellschaft‘ der höfischen Dichtung im Spiegel der Forschungsgeschichte
Forschungsgeschichtlicher Überblick über die neueren kulturwissenschaftlichen Diskussionen der Mediävistik zur Gesellschaftsthematik der höfischen Dichtung, wobei 1. ihre Filiationen zu den sozialhistorischen Textlektüren der 60er und 70er Jahre des 20. Jahrhunderts, 2. die Spezifik und Implikationen der Neujustierung der kulturwissenschaftlichen Frageinteressen und schließlich 3. die durch sie angestoßenen Veränderungen unseres Verständnisses der höfischen Dichtung herausgestellt werden.
This article gives a survey of the most recent debates in Medieval Cultural Studies on social themes in courtly poetry, placing them in the context of historical research. The focus is on the following aspects: 1. the connections these dabates have to the sociohistorical text readings of the 1960s and 70s, 2. the specifics and implications of the readjustment of interest in questions of cultural studies, and 3. the changes in our understanding of courtly poetry which these debates have brought about.
